All I have for you this evening is a photo of what I surprised Crankenstein with yesterday, which she again marveled at tonight.
It’s reading material for her log cabin, which I’ll probably start building next month. Included are the Lord of the Rings trilogy and a nod to her other, non-Tolkien religion: the Book of Common Prayer. These 1:12 editions — nail polish added for scale — are unusually detailed, each opening to several pages of text from its life-sized counterpart. We’ll produce most of the rest of her library ourselves to save money; all the miniature cheese in the cabin’s refrigerator won’t pay for itself.
